Off road training and events
in the Pacific Northwest.

No experience is needed and we can provide the dirtbike and helmet. This is the perfect course for new riders, kids and families. You'll even get a MSF card that is required in many ORV areas.
Some street or off road riding experience is required and we can provide a dirtbike if needed. Youth may be permitted to join this training if they ride an adult-sized dirtbike.
This program is for experienced off road riders and graduates of the Intermediate Dirtbike Training. Riders will provide their own motorcycles and gear for these courses.
Trail training is for anyone who has taken a PSSOR course. This training is done in small groups with coaching specific to trail riding. Riders must provide their own motorcycle and gear.
Specialized training for larger dualsport and adventure type bikes when riding off road. The overnight camps include riding lessons, clinics, seminars, and meals!

MSF DirtBike School

No experience is needed and we provide a dirtbike. Perfect for kids, families, and adults. Get an MSF card required for ORV parks in some areas.

The MSF DirtBike School is a beginner level course for anyone 6 years and older. You'll learn the basic skills for riding a dirtbike: starting, stopping, shifting, and turning.

After the basics the course shows key off road techniques including standing and posture, counterweighting, u-turns, hills, and basic group riding. Especially for younger riders we cover responsible riding strategies and good decision making which combine to prevent injuries.

What is "Open Date"?

If the course level column says "Open Date" that means the course level is not set. The first person to sign up will determine what level the course will be.

For example, if an 8 year old signs up the course will become an MSF Dirtbike School Basic for ages 6-10. If an adult signs up first it will become an adult course.

What are "B" dates?

If the course code has a "b" after the numbers (i.e. D-0522b-R) that means "backup" date. If the first course (in this case D-0522-R) fills up we'll get a second instructor and open a second course to run on the same date.

Understanding The Schedule

  • If the course code begins with a "D" then the course can become an MSF DirtBike School Basic.
  • MSF DirtBike School courses are grouped by the age of the students (kids cannot ride with adults unless it is a family or group course, call for info).
  • Pay attention to the ages allowed in the course. If an age range is listed the student must be in that age range.
  • If you do not see a date on the schedule that fits your needs, contact us about a custom date (i.e. weekday, holiday, different hours, etc).
  • All Experienced Dirtbike Training courses take place at our flat land off road area in Roy, WA (about 10 miles south of Tacoma on Hwy 507)
